Vintage Jacob Shearling Meg
I discovered this British rare breed Jacob sheep shearling in an antique shop and have hand stitched it into a bag. The shearling is paired with vegetable tanned black shoulder hide and repurposed saddlery leather straps. The hardware is solid British cast brass. I haven’t ever worked with a parti-coloured fleece before and I’m delighted with the results - a real one off!
The internal proportions are exactly the same as a standard Meg bag. The shoulder strap is detachable and fully adjustable- it will be made to your bespoke measurements.
This bag is entirely handmade and hand stitched.
