Entirely handmade and finished in our Bruton studio, each piece is made from repurposed vintage saddle leather, worn and aged to perfection over decades of use.
We pride ourselves on working with repurposed materials which have character and soul. Each piece we create is unique, carrying its own indelible story.
We use traditional leather-working tools and each piece is Saddle Stitched entirely by hand the old fashioned way.
Designed and crafted to be worn every day and taken everywhere - our hand stitched saddle leather bags are built to last a lifetime. They will only improve with age and use.

Founder Caroline Strecker is a designer, maker and leatherworker and started Rag of Colts in 2016. A love for well worn leather and a passion for sustainability lead to the repurposing of old saddles to make handbags and other leather accessories.
